Hello!
What do you get when you spend decades surrounded by jewelry, color, style, photography, and shopping? Apparently, a woman who notices EVERYTHING.After high school, I spent 15 years in fine jewelry, which is where I developed my skills for noticing detail—color, proportion, style, and all the things that matter in the world I’ve come to know and love.I studied photojournalism while earning my bachelor’s degree because I’m hardwired to capture the truth of what my eye is seeing. I want to tell a story honestly through the lens, including the color, lighting, and scenery in the photograph. That’s also why I only edit my photos to AP standards. For my midlife crisis, I decided to turn my lifelong shopping hobby into a tradeshow boutique, where I sold sassy purses, clothes, and jewelry. Like any good store owner, I helped women decide what looked best on them, but found myself in a lot of discussions about color. The lifelong learner in me wanted to understand color theory better, so I decided to study personal color analysis at The Style Academy.Phew, that was a lot of details for an About Me page. Now, what does all this have to do with Hello Cherie Jewel? It’s the foundation of the professional I am today. All the chapters of my life have come together through the services I offer as a photographer, personal color consultant, and thrifted fashion stylist. This is where I get to live the things I genuinely enjoy—style, beauty, shopping, photography, and helping my clients along the way. However you found me, I’m glad you’re here. So, hello! I’m Cherie Jewel. How can I be of service?
